But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age,
even those who by reason of use have
their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
In the midst of gross darkness, there is Light from the Lord Jesus. He
is the Light in the believer, and by His Spirit we are the light of the world. Maturity
in Christ begins by distinguishing between good and evil, and to always choose the good and refuse the evil. With an eye that is always focused on the Light, we must reject the grey area mentality that has lulled so many to sleep.
Believers in many nations of the world are facing imprisonment, torture, and death, yet they are standing as bold witnesses in the midst of deep darkness. Let us all remember that it was God who blessed the United States. He has given this nation much to be thankful for, and He requires much in return.
