The Refuge of Lies

Isaiah 28:17

Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
A plummet is nothing more than a line with a weight tied to the end, in order to check vertical alignment. The line in the first part of this verse is a measuring tool similar to a ruler. What is Yahweh expressing in this verse?

The Lord is revealing two dimensions of His authority: judgment in the horizontal, and righteousness in the vertical. These are the tools He uses to measure mankind. Judgment is just only when it proceeds from righteousness, and righteousness must be aligned with His standard, which is the example God set forth in His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. All else is deception and vanity, and will be swept away by the overflowing scourge of wickedness that is about to envelop the earth. As it is written,
Isaiah 28:18

And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

A Bruised Reed

2Kings 18:21

Now, behold, thou trustest upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt, on which if a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust on him.

Isaiah 42:3

A bruised reed shall He not break, and the smoking flax shall He not quench: He shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

Matthew 12:20

A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall He not quench, till He send forth judgment unto victory.

Egypt is clearly identified as the bruised reed in the first passage of Scripture above. When Isaiah prophesied of Christ the Holy Spirit said through the prophet that the Lord would not break a bruised reed until He brings forth judgment. Pharaoh king of Egypt has been carried forward in Babylon, and all those who are leaning on this world system are presently feeling the piercings of misplaced trust. The book of Revelation details the final judgment of Babylon, at which time Jesus Christ will break this modern day bruised reed and establish His eternal government, and the judgment sent forth will establish truth and bring victory. As it is written,

1Chronicles 29:11

Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is Thine; Thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and Thou art exalted as head above all.

Garments Rolled in Blood

Isaiah 9:5

For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.
When the Lord descends from heaven to consummate the redemption of Earth, it will have been purged with burning and fuel of fire as a result of the twenty one judgments during the Tribulation. His garments will be stained with blood from trampling out the vintage of the winepress of the wrath of Almighty God. His right hand will redeem Israel from the clutches of the Antichrist as His outstretched arm deals with all His enemies swiftly in the righteousness of His judgment. As it is written,

Isaiah 52:10

The LORD hath made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

The Whole Duty of Man

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Character is built one moment at a time. It takes place in the heart and soul, and Jesus Christ is the foundation of all. Faith in God is the beginning of life, and works combined with faith make life come alive.

He Will Raise Us Up

Hosea 6:2

After two days will He revive us: in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight.
Here is a picture of the coming resurrection. The Lord Jesus was two days in hell before He led captivity captive. He was raised up on the third day. Since the cross it has been two thousand years, which is as two days to the LORD. During this time He has purposed to revive humanity. Now we are in the third day when He will raise up mankind. Make straight paths for your feet, He is even at the door. The time is at hand when the faithful shall live in His sight for eternity, even as He purposed from the foundation of the world.

He Will Heal Us

Hosea 6:1

Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for He hath torn, and He will heal us; He hath smitten, and He will bind us up.
The LORD corrects according to His ways of judgment: righteously, and always on the side of His truth. There are no grey areas with God, only unbelief by men. Consider this: if one ignores God’s law of gravity and steps off a cliff, there are consequences. So when this passage describes tearing and smiting, this is His faithfulness to His judgment. When it describes healing and binding up of wounds, it is His abundant mercy when we return to Him.

Receive the Spirit of God

1 Corinthians 2:12

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
Time spent daily in His word gives the Holy Spirit the tools He needs to prepare our hearts. As we devote this time to God, the incorruptible seed of His word will perform what He sent it out to do in our lives. Take the time to receive the free impartation that God intends for you today.

The Candle of the LORD

Proverbs 20:27

The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
God first searches the heart, for this is the spring that feeds the mind. He searches the innermost chambers of man, and He knows what they contain better than we do ourselves. His Spirit searches our hearts and minds and exposes every recess to His glorious light. Then in turn He will reveal to us the reflection of ourselves in the mirror of the heart.

Christ: The Architect of Souls

1Corinthians 3:10

According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
Christ is the foundation of all creation, and the chief cornerstone. Every stone that is laid in a foundation must line up with the chief cornerstone in order to be effective. Those that do not are removed and replaced with others that will. The restoration of ones soul depends entirely on receiving the engrafted, incorruptible Word of God and lining ones thoughts up with the Chief Corner Stone. Thereby we become living stones, as it is written. We shall be known and read by all men.

The Word Shall Judge

John 12:48

He that rejects Me, and receives not My words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
The word of God is alive and powerful. It cuts right to the heart of a matter. The word says all of God’s ways are judgment. It is judgment that convicts, corrects, and heals the believer. It is judgment that condemns to those who reject the Word.

Fallen Corn of Wheat

John 12:24

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
Jesus spoke here of the crucifixion of His own body. This earthly shell called the flesh must be crucified in order to be resurrected in righteousness. This corruption will put on incorruption as we submit to God and are transformed into the image of His Son. As we shed this earthly body, the glory of the risen Savior will be seen shining out of our own spirits.

The Power of God’s Might

Ephesians 6:10-11

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
As we empty our lives of ourselves, the Lord will fill us with His might. Less of us and more of Him will always cause the power of God to flow through us, strengthening us and changing the circumstances around us, according to our yieldedness to Him. This is the same power which Christ applied, when He made an open show of the devil and all his demonic forces, and resurrected all those held captive in the Paradise chamber of Hell. The gates of Hell cannot prevail against the New Testament Body of Christ: saints who walks in the “dunamis” power of God and take authority over every dark spiritual force. That is man in God’s image, as He purposed so shall it be.

Great Light Rising

Matthew 4:16

The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.
The Second Coming of Jesus Christ is going to be the permanent sunrise, and darkness will be dispelled for all ages. After the Millenium, Satan will be released from the bottomless pit for a short space, his last opportunity to deceive mankind before he is cast into the lake of fire permanently. All rebellion will have been put down on Earth for eternity, and all that remains will glorify God. The region and shadow of death itself will be purged from the earth and cast down as well, and the Dead Sea will come to life as the eastward flowing river, flowing out from under the temple, restores the salt waters and causes new life to spring up. Behold, says the Lord, I make all things new!

The Spirit Shall Lift Up A Standard

Isaiah 59:19

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
When the children of Israel sinned in speaking against God and against Moses, the Lord sent fiery serpents (śârâph nâchâsh, or seraphim) of judgment among them to bite them. For those who realized their rebellious ways, repentance was rewarded by deliverance from death upon viewing a fiery serpent made of brass that was lifted up on a pole. Through the midst of the deep darkness in these end times, the LORD has promised to manifest Himself like the glorious sunrise. The gathering hosts of darkness, encamped round about the people of God, will be scattered by the brightness of His coming. In the midst of the flood of iniquity that threatens to engulf this earth, the Lord Jesus Christ will return to rebuke the wind and the waves and raise a standard against all His enemies. The Son of Man, once lifted up on His cross in death is now high and lifted up in resurrection and seated upon His throne. Those who have believed in Him will be delivered from the fires of judgment into the glorious light of eternal life in Christ. As it is written,

John 3:14-15

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.

The Nature of Works Will Be Manifest

1Corinthians 3:12-13

Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
First we must build upon the True Foundation, and then we must build the works of God in Him. The LORD is the judge, and at the last judgment His consuming fire will try the works, purging all works of the flesh so that only the spiritual works that God ordained will remain. The fire will try the works and prove them, and the day of the Lord will declare them.

Behold the Word of the LORD

Jeremiah 1:9

Then the LORD put forth His hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put My words in thy mouth.
When we humbly submit our lives to the Lord and resist the devil, He has promised to draw near to us. Then as we truly flow with the Holy Spirit and fix our hearts firmly on the Lord, the finger of God will touch our lips and our lives. The power of God will manifest in an anointing to speak the Word of the Lord boldly, with God-confidence. Prophetic utterance is simply this: the wisdom of God flowing through us to enlighten, encourage, and comfort one another. As we put His words in our mouths, we move into the perfection of the body of Christ.

The Earth Shall Be Filled

Habakkuk 2:14

For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Knowledge of the glory of the LORD will overflow the whole earth, beginning with the thousand year reign of Christ. Satan will be bound during this time as well, so rebellion will not be a result of deception or ignorance. The LORD has promised that any nation that does not worship Him during the millennium will not receive any rain. Rivers of living, healing water; flowing out from beneath the throne of God, will be poured out on the nations that worship the LORD of hosts. This is the beginning of His divine government: the requirements are not grievous, the blessings are eternal and unlimited, and the penalties are just and clearly stated. His government will be corruption free, and will never stop increasing; to the glory of God and redemption of mankind. Praise the Last Adam, Who will glorify our mortal bodies by His quickening Spirit and preserve us in incorruption.

The Promise of His Coming

2 Peter 3:4

And saying, Where is the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
The fathers are asleep, but the Father is not. All things continue as they were since the beginning of creation BECAUSE the Father is not asleep, and because He upholds everything by the power of His Word. He has promised His coming, and His Word is not empty or void or useless. He will come. Do not fall asleep. Be ready for Him! The days of Noah are upon the earth again, yet the Lord will make a swift end of those who do not read the signs of the times. As it is written,

Jude 1:14-15

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

To Build and To Plant

Jeremiah 1:10

See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
Make no mistake thinking that the anointing of God will not have a destructive effect on the world system (kosmos). Anything that is not devoted to glorifying God will topple. The release of the anointing will overthrow wickedness at the root and pave the way for the righteousness of God. Before the anointing of God builds and plants, it will root out and destroy, pull down and throw down, anything and everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. What remains will manifest His kingdom on earth.

Warn Every One

Act 20:29-31

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
The most powerful and deadly assault against the Church during these end times is deception.  Christ warned of this throughout the Olivet discourse, with direct or indirect references to guard against deceit seven times.  An eighth reference describes the same condition in the world as in the days of Noah, when the people refused to heed the warnings Noah spoke by the Holy Spirit and continued in their unrepentant state.  God, in His covenant keeping faithfulness which endures forever, has sworn never to destroy the earth by flood again.  Indeed, it is the very perversity of fallen mankind’s own wickedness that is sweeping the earth like a tsunami now, threatening to eliminate even those in the Church who fail to listen to the Holy Spirit in these perilous times.  The writing is on the wall to heed the wake-up call!

Jesus says it this way:
“Behold, I have told you before.”

Watch Ye Therefore

Luke 21:35-36

For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Prophetic events are unfolding at a heightened pace, signaling that the end of the age is close.  The Lord cautioned us to be vigilant, so as not to be caught unawares at the coming of the day of the Lord.  It shall come as a snare to those who are not paying attention: to unbelievers certainly, but also to believers who have fallen asleep or have let themselves be overly burdened by the cares of this present world.  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but the Word of the Lord endures forever.  Watch the Word that He has given you.  Take authority over the forces of darkness around you and cast them out.  Pray day and night according to His divine direction.  He is risen, and He is coming in power and great glory.  Praise the Lord!

Walk in the Day

John 11:9-10

Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
Walk in the light of the revelation He has given you.  Regardless of where He sends you and whatever dangers you may face, be obedient to perform His will.  Prepare your soul for warfare and affliction in these end times, for the battle is raging as the Tribulation night approaches.  As dark as the darkness seems now, when the Restrainer is removed there will be gross, deep darkness over the people as they stumble into eternity.  If any man be in Christ, as a new creation he is not of the night, for He is the Light by which we walk into our ordained destiny.

Revealed Unto Children

Luke 10:21

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank Thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in Thy sight.

Mercy Rejoices Against Judgment

James 2:13

For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath showed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

Precept Upon Precept

Isaiah 28:13

But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
History shows that Israel paid an extremely high price for rebellion against God. They went; they fell backward; they were broken, and snared, and taken. For many centuries they lived in exile. Now that they have been regathered according to His plan and purpose, the word of the Lord will deliver them FROM the captivity. Let no man or nation stand in the way of the LORD God of hosts and His love for His chosen people, Israel. In blessing them we receive our own deliverance and blessing.

In Him That Is True

1 John 5:20

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little. The ultimate revelation of God’s love toward man is His gift of Christ crucified on the cross, the sacrifice of His beloved Son to buy us back from total separation and spiritual death. Throughout the Bible the LORD speaks to this mystery, referring to the Messiah to come in hundreds of different ways. The single most important purpose of Scripture is to reveal the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jericho Daily Liberty Promotion

It has been nearly two years since the Lord birthed the whole Jericho Daily concept in my spirit.  In that time He has ministered to me many different ways that it can be applied.  In order to continue to build on this He has instructed me to give away copies of Jericho Daily: A Journey Into Personal Prophecy on the Amazon website Thursday July 4th through Saturday July 6th. (Click on the words "FREE COPY" to the left to go straight to the website for your free download. May the Lord bless you in it.)

In addition, he has led me to post the following excerpt from the preface to the second book, Jericho Daily: Walking with God.

The ascendancy of mankind is only by the grace of God.  Learning to walk in the flesh is no small accomplishment for an infant.  Walking in the Spirit is an impossible task for the infant nature of mankind.  That is why God has empowered us with His Holy Spirit.  We are to become His
kings and priests for timeless ageless eternity, but this can never be accomplished before we learn to discern the lessons that He intends for us to take from this brief manifestation of our spirit in the physical realm called flesh.  This life is merely a proving ground for a much higher and greater calling: we are to operate the same way He did at creation; after He has imparted His nature fully to us in glorified bodies and walking in the Spirit in demonstration of His supreme ability to bring ANYTHING He purposes to come to pass.  In effect, the goal is He will have taken the dust of the earth, filled it with His spirit nature, imparted His divine abilities and purged all possibility of rebellion, so that we will become extensions of Him, functioning as a unit to fill the vast reaches of void with His glory and power and brightness.  Glory to God!

Let us remember Who established the greatness of the United States for His good pleasure. He said He would bless those who bless His chosen people Israel, and He has done so in this country.  It is dangerous to walk away from this path, for this is His covenant with mankind through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and the church has been engrafted into this very covenant.  Independence Day begins with dependence on God, for He is the source of all freedom.  May the Lord Jesus Christ be glorified again in EVERY aspect of American society!

A Rod of an Almond Tree

Jeremiah 1:11

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
The almond tree bears the earliest spring blossoms, and the rod described here is the earliest green shoot. What this generation witnessed in 1948 with the rebirth of Israel was the "rod of an almond tree": the earliest blossoms of the performance of God's plan for the regathering of Israel prior to the Tribulation. When the former and latter rains begin to pour out on God's planting, we will witness His intention as He hastens His word to perform it once again. Before this generation passes away He will be sanctified in Israel, and His heartfelt desire for all mankind to be saved will manifest before all the nations. Salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone. As it is written,

Proverbs 13:12

Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.

The Assyrian in My Land

Isaiah 14:25

That I will break the Assyrian in My land, and upon My mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.
The yoke of the Assyrian will be broken by the LORD of hosts, as surely as the evening and the morning fulfill the day. He shall be tread under foot by the Holy One of Israel upon the mountains of Jerusalem. Even now their forces are converging on those mountains ready for the first stage of fulfillment: the Psalm 83 war. The burden of the Assyrian will depart from the shoulders of Judah, and then shall they dwell safely (yashab betach). Witness the pre dawn light of the risen Sun of Righteousness, the King of Glory! Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?

Fire Shut Up In My Bones

Jeremiah 20:9

Then I said, I will not make mention of Him, nor speak any more in His name. But His word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.
There is judgment sweeping the United States, for the land is under fierce wrath for a people who have turned their backs on the LORD of hosts. He is the commander of the angelic hosts. He is mighty to save and just. He is faithful to keep His covenant for those who perform His word, and He is faithful to perform His Word upon those who do not keep His covenant. As it is written,

Jeremiah 1:11-12

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten My word to perform it.
