Walk In the Day

John 11:9-10

Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
Walk in the light of the revelation He has given you.  Regardless of where He sends you and whatever dangers you may face, be obedient to perform His will.  Prepare your soul for warfare and affliction in these end times, for the battle is raging as the Tribulation night approaches.  As dark as the darkness seems now, when the Restrainer is removed there will be gross, deep darkness over the people as they stumble into eternity.  If any man be in Christ, as a new creation he is not of the night, for He is the Light by which we walk into our ordained destiny.

Deep Calls Unto Deep

Psalm 42:7

Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of Thy waterspouts: all Thy waves and Thy billows are gone over me.
The indwelling Person of the Holy Spirit in our hearts is our open line of communication to the Father of spirits. From deep within our spirit man we can hear exactly what Deep Himself has to say to us personally. We must tune our souls and be willing to listen to Him, and He will speak volumes about the mysteries of our hearts through His Word.

Grace Unto the Humble

James 4:6

But He giveth more grace. Wherefore He saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
Friendship with the things of the world leads away from the things of God; ultimately it leads to self reliance, pride, and outward rebellion. The Lord Jesus Christ is the foundation of creation, and His example for mankind is humble submission to the Father. The mysteries of God are written into the world by the Holy Spirit, and humility is the path to His heart and the unraveling of these mysteries in the spirit. Pride turns the mind inward on itself; humility turns it outward toward God.

The Coming of the Lord Draws Near

James 5:7-8

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
Jesus Christ sowed His life on earth as a seed, that He would be the firstborn among many brethren. When a farmer plants his crops he knows that, with the right conditions of soil and water, patience will bring him the harvest according to the seed sown. God Almighty knows that He will reap many sons from the redemptive sacrifice that his Son made on the cross. He also is looking to us, the children that He has drawn to Him, to patiently cultivate and establish our hearts in the knowledge of His coming. Now more than ever before, we should be looking to that blessed hope moment by moment, and maturing into our position in the body of Christ. The glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ draws near.

Stammering Lips And Another Tongue

Isaiah 28:11-12

For with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to this people. To whom He said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.
The Holy Spirit manifests in the believer in many ways. He will inspire us to verbalize our own divine prayer language. He enters our hearts to turn them from stone to flesh, and to write all of God’s commandments there.[There are far more than ten of them. We should be very grateful we are justified by faith.] He helps us to pray with confidence when our souls are uncertain or deeply troubled. He teaches us the deeper wisdom of God, drawing us away from the milk to eat the meat. He inspires our hearts and souls to go deeper with the Lord Jesus Christ; to follow Him further into faith. He never talks about Himself, only about the Lord. He energizes our human spirits, and encourages our souls. Listen carefully, and praise the Lord for the gift of the Holy Spirit! As it is written,

John 14:15-18

If ye love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him; for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Every Good and Perfect Gift

James 1:17-18

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with Whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of His own will begat He us with the Word of Truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
When we confessed with our mouths that Jesus Christ is our Lord, and believed in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we were adopted by the Father of lights. This was done of His own will, our heavenly Father drew us to Himself to be partakers of His good and perfect gifts, every one of them. The Word of Truth, placed in our mouths and planted in our hearts, gave us access to the first gift immediately: the indwelling of His Holy Spirit as our personal leader, guide, and mentor. Following the promptings of the Holy Spirit helps us to immediately grow in the likeness of His beloved Son and to lay hold of our inheritance. Thank you, Abba!

Make Up the Hedge

Ezekiel 22:30

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
Land for peace will never, ever work for Israel. It is just one more step toward the crafty counsel intended to cut them off from being a nation. As the day of the Lord approaches He is gathering the nations of the earth to rise up against Israel, and as they roar against her like the waves of the sea He will rebuke them after His purpose is served: that the remnant of Israel shall be born again in one day. By the Spirit of grace and of supplication, they will finally recognize and accept Jesus as their Messiah, knowing that He alone has plucked them out of the fire. In the meantime, we pray that God will turn the hearts of their leaders to face the dark days ahead with courage and strength, and trust that He will breathe the breath of life into these slain. Ultimately, it is the Lamb who will stand in the gap for the whole earth, and He will make up the hedge for Israel. As it is written,

Revelation 5:5

And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Cut Out Without Hands

Daniel 2:45

Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
Iron, brass, clay, silver and gold: all the elements by which mankind deems to rule himself will be proven to be futile. Every idol of the human heart will be thrown down and broken in pieces by the coming kingdom of God, which will be established by His Christ, the stone cut out without hands. The dream vision that God revealed to Daniel will surely become reality; there is no doubt of the interpretation. Let God be true regardless of the unbelief of men.

The Fruit of the Lips: Peace

Isaiah 57:18-19

I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners. I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.
The LORD sees the iniquities of the human heart, and every aspect of transgression and sin that is conceived in the heart is laid open before Him. He set out to make mankind in His own image, and He will perform it. It is the express will of God to remove all iniquity and heal us of its effects. When we repent and receive the Lord Jesus into our hearts, the healing can begin, by the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in our hearts. Then, by placing His Word in our mouths, peace will begin to flood our souls and the healing becomes progressive. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life: and He is restoration in our souls that leads to eternal right relationship. Glory to God!

To Revive the Spirit of the Humble

Isaiah 57:15

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, Whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
When our hearts are crushed, broken, and oppressed, the LORD has promised to move in and inhabit them. When our spirits are depressed and abased, this is when the LORD abides to make us alive again. This is the revival that speaks of the Lord’s peace: nourishment, restoration, wholeness, and energizing. There is the power of God behind His promise and His Word, He dwells in eternity, and here He is describing His second home. This is what draws the Creator of the universe to draw us; a humble spirit and a broken heart, submitted to Him.

They Shall Say, “Peace and Safety”

Daniel 11:24

He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.
As the end of the age approaches, the level of deception will increase. The world cries out for "peace" at any cost; for political correctness. Tolerance of evil is just ignorance and will never lead to peace. Jesus spoke of a whole different meaning of peace. The peace He referred to is a level of provision from God that supplies deliverance from oppression, preserves purity of heart and soul, brings healing to the body, and wholeness to the spirit. When the Antichrist projects his wicked devices against the strongholds of God, the people of God will not be deceived. The sudden destruction that swallows the fallen world will pass by like the death angel, leaving the remnant to inherit the peace that Christ will establish during the Millennium.

The Lord and Harpazo

Thirteen Aspects of the Rapture.

Take your inheritance in the kingdom of heaven by force.
Stand against the world system trying to force its mold upon your life.
Look to the Lord, and He will forcefully remove you from dissension and affliction.
These three things are the rapture.

Hang on to the Word in your heart lest the devil come to catch it away.
Hang on to your relationship with the Chief Shepherd,
lest the wolf come to catch you away from His fold.
Be baptized in the Holy Spirit and filled to the full with Him each day;
And the Lord will catch you away into the position He has for you on earth.
These three things are the rapture.

Rest in the hands of Jesus Christ the Lord, and no man can pluck you out of His hand.
Rest in the arms of your heavenly Father, the Ancient of Days:
He is well able to hold on to you in His hand, and no man can pluck you out of His hand.

The Spirit has sealed you unto the day of redemption.
These three Persons are the rapture.

Dwell in the Vine and wait for the vision, and be caught up with whatever He says to do.
Be so caught up with the love of Christ Jesus that you will meet Him in the air when He calls.
Rest assured in Him, knowing that He has prepared you a place on His throne with Him.
These three truths are the rapture.

Be occupied daily only with the fear of the LORD, and He will rescue you from the fire of His wrath.
This one thing I know,
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
On the other side of His blood is the rapture.
____________________________________________

As blood bought believers, we are engaged in the most important conflict ever: the battle between God and Satan, between good and evil, between the heavenly realm of light and the forces of spiritual darkness. Our commander, the Lord of hosts, has already determined the outcome, which He sealed through the death on the cross, the burial, and resurrection of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. In turn, we determine our position in this battle by faith in Jesus Christ, and this act guarantees the outcome in our own life by the seal of the Holy Spirit of promise. After this gift we must strive for the prize. There are crowns laid up for those who run the race with endurance while working the works of God. We must execute the battle plan of the Father of spirits.

Catch Away (Harpazo, Part 2 of 5)

The rapture is not a term that is found anywhere in the Bible, it is a concept invented by man to conceive of the Greek word harpazo. (The word “rapture” is taken from the Latin Vulgate translation “rapio”.) This word has five meanings spread across thirteen different Scriptures, so it is my intent here to let the Spirit lead into a deeper understanding of this word, and thereby a greater understanding of the concept of the rapture.

Matthew 13:19

When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
If you stand passively by the wayside to receive the Word of God, it will not penetrate your heart, and the devil will most certainly come to catch it away before it takes root. You must actively pursue a deeper understanding of the Word, feeding on it night and day, in order for the Holy Spirit to effectively change you into the image of Christ. This verse illuminates the work of Satan: he is urgently desperate to catch away (harpazo) the Word, for he knows its mighty transforming power once it takes hold in the heart of man.

John 10:12

But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
Jesus warned here of the hireling, who leads the sheep into danger because he does not care for them, and then runs away when the wolf appears to catch them (harpazo) and scatter them. This is the rapture of the antichrist, who lulls lukewarm believers to sleep as he slips the snare around their souls. Be sober, be vigilant: your enemy knows how to impersonate light. You have need of keen spiritual discernment, and you should always be trying the spirits.

Acts 8:39

And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
When the Holy Spirit moves upon the soul of a man whom God has called to a sovereign purpose, there is a mighty flow of revelatory outpouring. Here we see the Holy Spirit wooing an Ethiopian eunuch with Isaiah 53 while simultaneously positioning Philip for a divine appointment with him. The Ethiopian is so powerfully moved by the Spirit of God that he knows to ask for baptism, boldly proclaiming that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Afterward Philip is caught away (harpazo) as soon as they come up out of the water, moved on to his next assignment by the Holy Spirit.

The instances of catching away (harpazo) described in these verses illustrate two opposites. First, the evil device used by Satan to catch away the word of God and then believers. Secondly, the instrument God uses to position believers for His purposes. As the rapture approaches, believers need to be firmly rooted and grounded in God's Word, to ensure that their shepherd is following the Good Shepherd, and to make themselves available when God moves to position them supernaturally. And remember, as it is written,
Matthew 24:4

And Jesus said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Cleft of the Rock

Exodus 33:22

And it shall come to pass, while My glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a cleft of the rock, and will cover thee with My hand while I pass by:
The glory of the Lord is where our transformation begins and ends. As we open our hearts and minds to submit to God, and the Holy Spirit gains full entrance, the glorious light of God will penetrate every shadow of vanity and human weakness. Then when we seek Him with our whole hearts, He will cover us in His secret place and give us a glimpse of that glory, and where He is leading us. He is the Rock.

Search the Heart

Jeremiah 17:10

I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
The heart and soul of man is a creation of the sovereign LORD of the universe. He alone can fathom all of the thoughts and intents, the very depths of the heart. In turn this is where Christ, through the Holy Spirit, will speak to us. Awareness of His still small voice will ensure that good fruits will prosper in our hearts, in our souls, and in our lives.

Have the Light of Life

John 8:12

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
The Holy Spirit dwelling in our hearts seals believers as God’s possession. Christ in us is the gift of God: we are now in possession of the Light of life. God has detailed expectations of how we should make use of His Light, but His central focus in all of this, what wraps up everything He desires, is the manifestation of His Son in our lives. Christ in us, the hope of glory, will be His glory shining through us.

Receive the Spirit of God

1 Corinthians 2:12

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
Time spent daily in His word gives the Holy Spirit the tools He needs to prepare our hearts. As we devote this time to God, the incorruptible seed of His word will perform what He sent it out to do in our lives. Take the time to receive the free impartation that God intends for you today.

The Candle of the LORD

Proverbs 20:27

The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly.
God first searches the heart, for this is the spring that feeds the mind. He searches the innermost chambers of man, and He knows what they contain better than we do ourselves. His Spirit searches our hearts and minds and exposes every recess to His glorious light. Then in turn He will reveal to us the reflection of ourselves in the mirror of the heart.

The Word Shall Judge

John 12:48

He that rejects Me, and receives not My words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
The word of God is alive and powerful. It cuts right to the heart of a matter. The word says all of God’s ways are judgment. It is judgment that convicts, corrects, and heals the believer. It is judgment that condemns to those who reject the Word.

Behold the Word of the LORD

Jeremiah 1:9

Then the LORD put forth His hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put My words in thy mouth.
When we humbly submit our lives to the Lord and resist the devil, He has promised to draw near to us. Then as we truly flow with the Holy Spirit and fix our hearts firmly on the Lord, the finger of God will touch our lips and our lives. The power of God will manifest in an anointing to speak the Word of the Lord boldly, with God-confidence. Prophetic utterance is simply this: the wisdom of God flowing through us to enlighten, encourage, and comfort one another. As we put His words in our mouths, we move into the perfection of the body of Christ.
