A Vesture Dipped In Blood

Revelation 19:12-13

His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.
When Jesus Christ returns to the Mount of Olives to establish His Millennial reign, He will be coming from the winepress of the wrath of Almighty God, and clothed with a vesture dipped in blood. It is the great and terrible day of the Lord, and He will bring God’s judgment upon His sworn enemies. Christ did not come the first time to judge the world, but to save it, yet rejection of His word will judge those who do. God is not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent. The Son of man will return to judge by the Word God sent out, and that never returns void. Adore the King of kings, and Lord of Lords, for His mercy endures forever to those who choose mercy over judgment.

Garments Rolled in Blood

Isaiah 9:5

For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.
When the Lord descends from heaven to consummate the redemption of Earth, it will have been purged with burning and fuel of fire as a result of the twenty one judgments during the Tribulation. His garments will be stained with blood from trampling out the vintage of the winepress of the wrath of Almighty God. His right hand will redeem Israel from the clutches of the Antichrist as His outstretched arm deals with all His enemies swiftly in the righteousness of His judgment. As it is written,

Isaiah 52:10

The LORD hath made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

A Nail in a Sure Place

Isaiah 22:23

And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.
The only sure place to dwell is the secret place of the most high God, and His is the only place that is sure and certain. We are fastened there by Jesus Christ. When the Roman soldiers fastened Him to His cross they used three nails, a constant reminder of our triune God who is One LORD. It is only through the cross that we can approach the throne of God and rest in surety, knowing that no man can pluck us out of His hand. We cannot even come to the Father but by the blood of Jesus Christ, for He is the nail in the sure place.

The Blood of the Passover Lamb

Revelation 12:11

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
The book of John describes the threefold ministry of the Holy Spirit after Jesus’ death on the cross: to convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. The sin was covered by the blood of the Lamb, which is available to all who will believe in Him. The righteousness of God is our inheritance through belief in Jesus Christ, and He is the Word; and this is the word of our testimony. The judgment of the righteous, which takes place at the judgment seat of Christ, is for those that do not love their lives in the face of death. The wicked will face the Father of Spirits at the Great White Throne for an entirely different judgment.

On this Passover, let us uphold all those persecuted believers around the world who are standing strong, boldly witnessing to the glory of God and declaring their faith in His only begotten Son, regardless of their personal safety. May the Lord deliver them all supernaturally from the death angel; may He shake the bars and doors of prisons around the world where Christians are being tortured for their witness; and may He restore families who have been torn apart because they refuse to hide their Light in the midst of the gross darkness that is sweeping the earth in these last days.
