He is the tower of salvation for His king: and sheweth
mercy to His anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.
The LORD is the tower of salvation (yeshua) to all who place
their trust in Him. Trust is a matter of the whole heart, and when your whole
heart is after God He responds with His anointing (mashiyach). This is the
extension of the secret place of the most high God, a dwelling place under His
wings where there is peace and safety in the midst of all the storms of life. Yeshuah
Ha’Mashiyach, Jesus our Messiah, beloved Son of God: we trust that you are ever
watchful over those whose hearts are fixed on you. Thank You LORD, for keeping
us in perfect peace in the midst of the rising tide of deep darkness, as the
stormy seas of the nations toss up their foam. As the second coming of the Lord
Jesus Christ draws near, we remember that it often seems darkest before the Day
dawns. As it is written,
Isaiah 60:1-2
Arise, shine; for
thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold,
the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD
shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.
