And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the
north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the
colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
The vision Ezekiel described is a manifestation of the glory of God.
When we truly submit our hearts to God, He comes in like a whirlwind: a
rushing, mighty wind. This wind will tear down everything in our hearts that
does not belong. Then the fire comes to purge what remains, refining our hearts
to a purer state. If He meets with any resistance in our hearts, any areas that
we try to hold back from Him, the process is only prolonged. What He sets out
to do He finishes. Afterward, in a time of rest, we hear the still, small voice
of the Holy Spirit offering comfort and guidance to the next level. Then the
process starts again.

Out Of the Midst Of the Fire
Ezekiel 1:4
And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the
north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the
colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
