The Darkness Comprehended It Not

John 1:5

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Only the Creator can truly comprehend the vastness of creation. His being encompasses infinity, for without Him was not any thing made that was made. From the foundation of the world, He set forth His plan for Jesus Christ to be the express image of the Godhead; the face of God revealed to mankind. When God shows His face, darkness flees and those who follow Truth are drawn to the Light. Soon the Lord Jesus will appear again to mankind, to gather those who belong to the Father and redeem the earth from corruption.

Eye to Eye

Isaiah 52:8

Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.

The LORD has promised, covenanted in His blood, to deliver Israel out of the fire. Even now as the forces of evil gather at her doorstep it is the Holy One, blessed be He, who is in control. Their crafty counsel will only accomplish His purpose: to show Israel His face when Jesus returns to the Mount of Olives. As they look upon Him whom they pierced they will mourn as for their own firstborn, and then shall they see eye to eye with the Messiah for whom they have longed, for they shall see Him through the eyes of God.
